We are currently accepting applications for Casual Program Worker to join our Adult Day Program department - Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Sackville

Reporting to the Adult Day Program Manager.

Qualifications:

• Continuing Care Assistant Certification, or equivalent
• Diploma from an accredited post-secondary educational institution:
• 2 year Therapeutic Recreation Diploma
• One year of releveant work experience required
• Previous Alzheimer's experience required
• Previous recreational experienced considered an asset
• Food Handlers certificate requred
• Alzheimer's course certidficate required
• CPR and First Aid certificate required
• Crisis Management certificate considered an asset
• Demonstrated computer skills, knowledge and experience in Word and Microsoft Outlook
• Must have regular and consistent attendance within the Northwood corporate standard.

Hours of Work: Casual ( 4 or 7 Hour shifts )
