Eastlink is currently seeking full time permanent Customer Payment Services Coordinator to join our team. The Customer Payment Services Coordinator is a key team player with the ability to function independently and/or as part of the team, solve problems using logic and strong attention to detail. The coordinator will be accountable for working payment processing exceptions requiring analysis and decision making. The coordinator will be required to prepare daily volume of cheque processing and operate cheque processing equipment for transmittal of files to Eastlink billing system and bank. The coordinator will work closely with others in the Customer Payment Services team to ensure priority objectives are met and will contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all incoming cheque payments for posting to billings systems.
  • Review and work customer payment exceptions such as refunds, EFT payments, transfers, return items and missing payments
  • Operate payment processing machine including maintenance
  • Assist with payment processing as required
  • Establish customers for set up of pre-authorized payments

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of data processing and/or accounting experience
  • Proven experience in Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and meet timelines
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Track record of adhering to organization policies and procedures
  • Understand of payment processing procedures and regulations
  • Strong communications both oral and written
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to continuous change
  • Problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
