Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Saint John , NB
Hours: 8 :00am to 5: 0 0pm
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $ 32 .00/Hour

Job Information:
This position requires experience operating various types of heavy equipment in a construction environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in outdoor conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow directions from site supervisors to complete job tasks accurately
• Load and unload materials, clear work areas, and assist with site preparation
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company procedures
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards
• Communicate clearly with crew members and report equipment issues promptly
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or similar environment
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification or equivalent experience
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots and required PPE
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard awareness
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and terrain
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
