We are looking for an experienced Web Developer, with a focus in leveraging front end technologies to design, develop and create excellent user experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate in a dynamic, Agile Scrum team to build and enhance web-based applications and platforms
• Lead the development of engaging user interfaces for our public website and internal tools
• Translate design mockups and UX concepts into high-quality, responsive web pages
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and SEO performance
• Work closely with designers, SEO specialists, and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Contribute to the evolution of our front-end architecture and development practices
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and trends

Skills & qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end web development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with Tailwind CSS / Daisy UI
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco) and structured content
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
• Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team

Experience with the following would be considered an asset:

• Experience with C# / .NET Core 8 and MS SQL is a plus
• Exposure to cloud platforms and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
• Background in Umbraco CMS development
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and intuitive user experiences
