Job Title: Hole Watch / Man Watch
Location: Saint John / Fredericton / Edmunston
Shifts: Night + Day shift
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour
Job Type: Seasonal

Job Information:
This position is critical for ensuring the safety of workers operating in or around confined spaces. The Hole Watch is responsible for constant monitoring of these spaces to ensure that all safety procedures are followed and to initiate emergency response if necessary. Candidates will receive First Aid and Traffic Control training as part of the onboarding process.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor confined space entry and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Maintain continuous visual and verbal contact with workers inside the confined space
• Keep accurate records of entry and exit times for all personnel
• Ensure proper signage and safety equipment are in place and functional
• Report any unsafe conditions or breaches in protocol immediately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency response teams
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory guidelines
• Perform additional duties as directed by management

Requirements:
• Experience in previous roles considered a plus
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility safety gear
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site (must have own vehicle)
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and working outdoors in all weather
• Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and professionalism
