Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing Community Engagement Coordinator will support both the fundraising objectives and relationship building of St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation. The coordinator will:

· Oversee the major fundraising events of St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation

· Develop and nurture corporate and community partners

· Elevate the profile of the Foundation in the community

· Support the Foundations Mission, Vision and Values

Key Responsibilities

· Manage events for the Foundation

· Manage third party relationships

· Build strong relationships with individuals, organizations, and the business community

· Create awareness through various communications channels, including media, social media, internet marketing, events, and strategic relations

· Manage Foundations websites and social media accounts

Fundraising

· Secures and coordinates sponsorships

· Ensures effective stewardship and recognition for donors, sponsors, and event participants

· Develops calendar of upcoming fundraising events

· Identifies new marketing and fundraising opportunities

· Identifies and capitalizes on new opportunities to establish strategic partnerships

· Works closely with fundraising committees and provides support and advise

Volunteer Coordination

· Works with the Executive Director supervising the day-to-day activities of Foundation Summer Students and Volunteers

Communication and Branding

· Ensures consistent branding and messaging for the Foundation

· Coordinates the publication of the Foundations website, print and media content

Qualifications, Experience

· Relevant Bachelor's degree and or College equivalent and 3 years experience

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

· Experience or direct involvement in executing events, including sponsorship, volunteer management and donor recognition

· Capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively

· Team player

· Enthusiastic, self motivated and committed to excellence

· Effective leadership skills and project management skills

· Strong technical skills including ability to design and coordinate marketing materials and online content

· Available to work weekends or evenings as required
