THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will lead ADL's finance function across multiple sites. This is more than a maintenance role-it's an opportunity to modernize, strengthen, and help guide our financial systems through the next stage of growth.

In this role, you will:

• Provide leadership to accounting teams across all company locations.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and CRA requirements.
• Enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and capital expenditures.
• Assist in the transition from manual processes toward more automated systems.
• Lead audit readiness and work closely with external auditors and tax professionals.
• Other ad-hoc, regulatory or compliance-based reporting, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We're looking for someone who brings both technical strength and leadership presence.

• CPA designation required.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and team leadership.
• Background in manufacturing is an asset, as is experience managing change.
• Skilled at coaching, mentoring, and building high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A positive, proactive approach-you see opportunity where others see obstacles.

This position based out of our ADL's Corporate Headquarters in heart of Summerside, PEI. The role is a Full-Time Permanent position and will require with periodic travel to other ADL locations throughout PEI as required.
