About the Role
Reporting to the Provincial Manager of Evaluation, Quality and Learning Health System you will be responsible for:
??? Work with partners/clients to undertake strategically focused evaluation activities that inform decision-making within NL Health Services.
??? Design and implement evaluation plans and frameworks within the province???s health system.
??? Develop and implement data collection tools.
??? Monitor evaluation activities.
??? Identify and mitigate strategies, where needed, to ensure deliverables are completed as planned.
??? Consult and provide evaluation expertise to health system representatives.
??? Write evaluation reports summarizing findings.
??? Make evidence-based recommendations to health system representatives.
??? Prepare presentations and infographics to support knowledge translation.
About You
Your education and experience include:
??? Master???s degree in Applied Social Psychology, Health Services research, or a related field.
??? Minimum of five years of relevant evaluation experience:
o Relevant experience would include but is not limited to:
??? Experience collaborating with stakeholders within the health system.
??? Experience with developing and implementing large scale evaluation projects.
??? Experience preparing comprehensive evaluation reports.
??? Knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement would be considered as asset.
You have the following skills and abilities:
??? Experience in application of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, techniques and analysis is essential.
??? Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills.
??? Superior communication skills (verbal and written).
??? Good judgment and an ability to build consensus among groups with differing priorities.
??? Ability to apply critical thinking throughout the evaluation process.
??? Ability to function in high pressure, diverse, and changing environment.
??? Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and partners.
??? Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
