Title: Food Production & Packaging - Meat

Location: Cambridge, ON

Wage: $17.40/hour + $0.50 premium for afternoon shift

Shift:

• Day shift: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
• Afternoon shift: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

We have immediate full-time openings with our Food Packaging client in Cambridge, with the opportunity for long-term career progression! They are seeking associates for both day and afternoon shifts and offer a great working environment.

Note: Due to schedule requirements/demands, this role is not suitable for students.

Job Duties:

• Assisting in labeling and packaging of food
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure only high-quality products are packed
• Placing frozen meat products into trays or boxes
• Feeding products through a flash freeze process
• Maintaining a steady pace on the packaging line
• Opportunity to be cross-trained in different areas

Requirements:

• Willingness to work with meat products (cooked/frozen)
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to handle meat products (cooked - pork, chicken, seafood, beef)
• Ability to work at a steady pace within a team environment
• Ability to work in a cool temperate environment
• Ability to adhere to strict food safety guidelines
