Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Business Development Unit team within Enterprise Services as an Adult Learning Specialist on a 1-year opportunity. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide our business partners with custom training solutions to further support their teams during the ongoing Oracle Fusion transformation
  • Conduct needs assessment activities with key project stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to better understand training needs, gaps and desired outcomes
  • Collaborate with ERP team who is responsible for the deployment and support of Oracle Fusion to ensure alignment of training efforts with business partners
  • Develop high-level training plan for projects outlining the proposed solution, learning objectives, content focus areas and rollout plan for the training
  • Create training design document outlining the planned content, delivery methods, timing and evaluation tools using a standard instructional design approach
  • Develop engaging training materials to support the effective transfer of knowledge and further development of skills with learners
  • Conduct training with the intended audiences by demonstrating excellent facilitation skills focused on readily engaging participants and delivering an optimal learner experience (virtual, live, self-guided training solutions)
  • Track, analyze and report on training evaluation results to ensure ongoing training effectiveness across business units, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share our impact
  • Collaborate with business partners to provide timely follow-up on training that has been delivered and to proactively identify any emerging needs for training

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: University degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience. Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:

  • Monitoring & coaching skills for training purposes
  • Training and experience in adult learning or corporate training
  • Certification in change management
  • Background/experience in finance, payroll or similar field

Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirement(s) is also required:

  • Some weekday evenings and weekend work hours may be required.
