The New Brunswick Housing Corporation (NBHC) is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Housing Program Consultants to join its Programs Unit in Central office (Fredericton, NB). These positions play a key role in the design, delivery, and evaluation of housing programs that support the Corporation's mission to provide safe, affordable, and accessible housing to residents across the province.
Housing New Brunswick has committed to modelling Community Housing Retention and Expansion Pilots to fund housing in the Non-Profit and Co-operative Housing providers. These pilots will focus on supporting capacity building through pre-construction costs, acquisitions to maintain existing affordable housing, and new construction to create more affordable housing. The Housing Program Consultants will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of these exciting new initiatives for Non-Profit and Co-operative Housing providers.
These roles require engagement with community partners, government departments, and non-profit housing providers. The successful candidates will be expected to build and maintain strong working relationships, offering program expertise and consultation as needed as well as presentations to stakeholders. The Consultants will also be tasked with collecting and analyzing data to support evidence-based decisions, reporting on program performance, and recommending improvements to maximize impact and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration, or a related discipline with at least five (5) years of related experience in housing program administration or a similar field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Travel within the province will be required.

Salary: $65,936 to $92,092 per annum
