SummaryWorking alongside the Real Estate Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining lease records, participating in negotiations and meetings, coordinating with partners, managing rent payments, and supporting the Leasing team on nationwide portfolio with a focus on the Toronto market.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development:
- Initiate follow-up calls with potential partners regarding opportunities that would align with the Astral Media Portfolio
- Compile and analyze market data to assess the feasibility of potential sites. Prepare reports summarizing key findings and recommendations. Analyzes opportunities by building business cases
- Provide broad support to the business development team
Leasing:
- Review and prepare contracts for execution to secure new or existing inventory
- Generate proposals using standardized templates, coordinating with other departments as needed
- Support our partners as needed to research and resolve payment disputes, complaints, or other Lease related topics
- Contact partners regarding maintenance and repair issues, planned or otherwise, related to sites and monitor the progress
- Manage and track monthly rents, post payments, and contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, leasing plans, and quarterly reporting
- Participate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned
Systems:
- Responsible for end-to-end usage of systems on all new agreements, renewals, amendments or as otherwise required (Quattro, SAP)
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of new products
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site inventory records, proactively managing data updates to ensure information reflects the most recent status
- Work closely with the Capital Asset & Lease Accounting team (CALA) on ensuring the conformity and accuracy of our data in SAP (vendor, term, and conditions)
- High school level or higher
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (Project Management, Business Development, contract administration.
- OOH Advertising and Toronto Municipal By-law knowledge an asset
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task with multiple deadlines
- Initiative, pro-activity and strong ability to build business connections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Proficiency with lease database tools an asset IFRS 16, SAP
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
