JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Engagement for the Communications and Engagement sector, the Engagement and Change Management Consultant will be primarily responsible for creating and implementing engagement and change management plans and strategies for the Network's major projects.

The consultant will be in charge of facilitating organizational transformation through active collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders and will work closely with all specialists including project managers, organizational performance consultants, physicians, Leadership Team members and management.

The consultant will support staff and other stakeholders in developing the knowledge and skills needed to respond to changes that affect them, fostering the rapid adoption of improvements and a learning-oriented culture. This work will require the consultant to provide extensive mentorship and demonstrate leadership skills while developing a personalized approach based on the specific needs of individuals and groups.

The consultant will be called to develop and plan strategic approaches designed to mobilize stakeholders and facilitate their engagement. Based on engaging facilitation approaches, the consultant will be responsible for planning and leading consultation sessions aimed at applying engagement and change management assessment tools. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing the results of these assessments to identify strategic actions in areas such as communication, training, guidance, resistance management, empowerment, and leadership. Therefore, the consultant will play a key role in transforming the organizational culture into a learning culture. The consultant will also be responsible for developing transition plans to support the changes resulting from the Network's priority projects. The consultant's coaching will aim to mitigate resistance while increasing the collective capacity to manage change.

All of these tasks will be carried out in collaboration with the Communications and Engagement team and with stakeholders who have a role to play within Vitalité Health Network. Additional related tasks that support communication and engagement efforts may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Postsecondary degree in social sciences, administration or management;
  • Combination of training and experience deemed equivalent;
  • Prosci certification considered an asset;
  • Minimum of five years' experience with increasing responsibilities in consultation, project management, and organizational change management;
  • Keen organizational and communication skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills;
  • Results-oriented and analytical reasoning skills;
  • Ability to coach and train individuals and teams;
  • Excellent command of French, both written and spoken, and proven writing skills;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment with tight deadlines;
  • Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and build strong interpersonal relationships;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
