The Law Society of New Brunswick is seeking a Human Resource and Internal Communications Advisor to help shape the employee experience and foster a transparent, respectful, and mission-driven workplace. What You'll Do
As our HR and Internal Communications Advisor, you'll wear two hats:
Human Resources: Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR function including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, training, and more.
Internal Communications: Lead internal communication strategies to ensure our team is connected to our goals, values, and one another. You'll bring clarity, consistency, and creativity to the way we share information.
You'll be a trusted partner to managers, a resource for staff, and a voice for a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead recruitment and onboarding to attract and retain top talent
Administer HR programs and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies
Support workplace wellness, professional development, and morale initiatives
Develop and implement internal communication strategies (newsletters, updates, forums)
Serve as a communications coach for managers navigating change or sensitive issues
Maintain and enhance HR policies, systems, and documentation
Facilitate programs to improve employee engagement, retention, and recognition
What You Bring
Bilingual (French and English) communication skills-verbal and written
5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a collaborative or professional services setting
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (CPHR an asset)
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, policy, and best practices
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and continuous learning
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems
