About the Role: This is a full-time opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented pastry professional to contribute to the development of new baked products, refine existing recipes, and collaborate closely with our research and development and quality teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the R&D Manager to develop and test new bakery products with a focus on quality, flavor, and scalability.
- Bring hands-on pastry and baking skills into a product development environment.
- Assist with product trials and sensory evaluations.
- Adapt traditional pastry techniques for commercial production.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of recipes, testing procedures, and outcomes.
- Conduct research on baking trends, ingredients, and techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production and quality assurance.
- Prioritize multiple projects and meet tight development timelines.
What You'll Bring:
- Diploma or degree in Pastry Arts, Baking & Pastry, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a pastry or bakery setting.
- Creativity and a passion for experimenting with flavors, textures, and presentation.
- Strong understanding of ingredients, baking chemistry, and food safety.
- Comfortable working in both kitchen and office environments.
- Bonus: Experience with ESHA Food Processor, Genesis software, or commercial food manufacturing.
