This role is ideal for someone who thrives in multidisciplinary settings and is comfortable moving between technical details, public consultations, municipal partnerships, and project promotion. Your leadership will directly support the Housing Hub's mission of building diverse, inclusive, and affordable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Engagement & Community Relations

- Represent the Housing Hub at meetings, events, and forums to promote development goals and generate interest in project participation.
- Serve as a communications liaison to align stakeholders on project milestones, timelines, and community benefits.
- Lead and support public engagement, community consultation, and collaboration with rural and Indigenous communities.
Municipal Planning & Development
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of affordable housing projects on municipal land.
- Oversee land-use strategies that align with community goals, policy guidelines, and affordability objectives.
- Guide feasibility assessments, including servicing capacity and environmental considerations, in partnership with technical consultants.
- Identify opportunities to increase density and optimize land use to improve housing outcomes.
Project Management & Delivery Oversight
- Facilitate multi-stakeholder coordination to keep development plans on track-from pre-construction through turnover.
- Manage development agreements, lot offerings, and infrastructure readiness.
- Oversee Expression of Interest (EOI) campaigns and review development proposals with a focus on alignment, equity, and impact.
- Support federal and provincial government funding applications.
Business Development
- Cultivate partnerships with non-profit and private sector housing providers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and advisors to promote development opportunities and attract developer interest.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or Communications, Urban Planning, Community Development, Public Administration, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, land development, municipal planning, or housing-related project management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to navigate complex, multi-party projects.
- Understanding of real estate development, land-use planning, and community consultation processes.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working in cross-functional environments.
- Bilingual (French ad English) an asset.
What We Offer:
- Comprehensive health benefits, including 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program.
- Flexible and remote work opportunities.
- Competitive compensation tailored to your experience and expertise.
- A chance to drive meaningful, purpose-driven work that impacts communities across New Brunswick.
- Opportunities to attend industry events and training for professional growth.
