Join Horizon Health Network's Communications Team
Are you a storyteller at heart with a passion for strategic communications? Are you looking for meaningful work that allows you to
make a real difference in the lives of New Brunswickers?
Horizon's Communications team is looking for talented and enthusiastic communications and stakeholder relations professionals to join our growing and fast-paced team!
If you're a communications professional who is energized by collaboration, motivated by purpose, and thrive on bringing clarity to complex issues, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
About Us
The Communications portfolio consists of an integrated team of communication, marketing, creative and translation professionals.
We tell the stories of how Horizon staff, physicians, volunteers and patients, clients and family members are working to improve health care in our province and help ensure New Brunswickers have the information they need about their health care services.
Our team members have meaningful influence with health care leaders within Horizon, helping guide the organization through complex and challenging situations involving various internal and external stakeholders.
Our team is responsible for: corporate communications; internal communications; digital communications; media relations; marketing and advertising; creative services (graphic design, photography and videography); and translation services.
About Our Opportunities
We're looking to meet with experienced communications professionals with a passion for sharing positive stories on numerous platforms with engaged and diverse audiences.
We have opportunities that will allow you to gain experience and expertise in a multitude of communications channels and work with health care providers, leadership and support personnel from across our organization.
Our work is fast-paced and rewarding, and every day on the job is different!
Working at Horizon provides you with a compensation package that is more than a base salary. You will be part of the public service, which provides access to health and dental, government pension, sick time, and vacation time, starting at three (3) weeks. Living outside the province? We offer a relocation allowance of up to $5,000.

- Craft compelling written content, from media releases and key messages to internal communications and executive briefings.
- Collaborate with colleagues, leaders, and partners to deliver innovative, people-centred communication strategies.
- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
- Help bring Horizon's stories to life – stories of innovation, care, research and the people behind them.
What We're Looking For:
We're not looking for a perfect fit – we're looking for the right fit. If you bring some of the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:
- Strategic thinker with 5+ years' experience in communications, media relations, public affairs or stakeholder engagement.
