Reporting to the Manager of Mental Health and Addictions, this position will provide administrative support for the Mental Health and Addictions Department and Psychiatry services across the Labrador Grenfell zone.

Qualifications:

? Graduation from high school or equivalency
? Successful completion of a 2-year Office Administration program or equivalent administrative support course
? Experience working in mental health and addictions
? Experience working with Psychiatry services
? Experience completing payroll duties
? Experience with transcription and dictation
? Proficient knowledge of and experience with Meditech, EMR, Ischeduler, and Zoom for scheduling purposes
? Word Processing skills and knowledge and ability to use various computer software programs: Word, Excel, and Windows
? Experience in skilled office administration (minimum of one ? two years related experience)
? Ability to perform a variety of clerical duties with initiative and judgment
? The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct.

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

? Prepares, develops and formats correspondence, letters, memos, policies, statistical reports and/or spreadsheets utilizing information technology applications with time limitations
? Transcription of dictated assessments and notes
? Provides clerical support to Psychiatry Services as required
? Collects, compiles and maintains statistics
? Receives/records/disseminates all correspondence
? Coordinates travel and accommodations
? Prepares orientation and other education packages
? Schedules psychiatry clinics
? Communicates with other departments and external agencies as required
? Organizes various committee meetings/teleconferences including room bookings, preparing agenda and recording minutes and communicating them back in a timely manner
? Screens calls, identifies problems, obtains and suggests solutions, maintains highly confidential files
? Performs other related duties as required.
