Your main responsibilities

  • Field inspection and testing during placement of hot-mix asphalt to match current DTI requirements - including overseeing sampling, coring, temperature and compaction verification, etc;
    Familiar with current DTI End-Result-Specification Asphalt specifications including sampling intervals, and placement requirements;
  • Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding;
  • Reviewing roadway for damage prior to, and following paving operations;
  • Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor;
  • Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions;
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

What makes you unique

  • Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
  • Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Willingness and ability to travel on a required basis.
