Hours: 75 Hours (8 hours; Days)
0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700, 0930-1730 and 1000-1800 Hours, Monday to Friday. Flexible shift hours will be required.
Salary: NP35 (CAD51.29 - CAD63.65 per hour)

Required Qualifications:
Education
Completion of an approved/recognized Nurse Practitioner program is required.
Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (or eligible for licensure) as a Nurse Practitioner (Family/All Ages or Adult) with the CRNNL. Any additional training in the care of the geriatric patient would be of benefit but is not required. Additional education with the geriatrics team will be provided for the initial 4-6 weeks.
Current ACLS Certification is required or a willingness to complete within the first year.
Experience
A minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care clinical nursing experience in the last three (3) years, working with the older adult population is required.
Previous experience in Geriatric Medicine and/or Geriatric Psychiatry, along with previous leadership experience would be considered an asset.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
In the event, no suitable candidate is found with the above noted qualifications, consideration may be given to other NP applicants.
