Role Description:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources Centres of Expertise, the Manager, Talent Management will play an instrumental role in developing and leading HR initiatives and programs that will shape the future of our client's workforce. With the support of a skilled team of HR professionals, the Manager, Talent Management, will oversee organizational design & development, learning & development, performance management, succession planning, DEI, and emerging talent and employee engagement programs across a dynamic organization.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide daily leadership and guidance to a team of specialists, fostering a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and the continuous improvement of talent management practices;
- Design, implement, and evaluate innovative strategies and workplans aimed at improving employee retention, enhancing leadership development, and strengthening the organization's capacity to manage and adapt to change;
- Provide oversight and direction for core organizational initiatives, including leadership and employee development, employee engagement, succession planning, DEI, performance management, and programs for emerging talent;
- Partner with ISI Centres of Expertise to align with and implement enterprise-wide talent development programs and frameworks, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact across the organization;
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives, to assess talent needs and implement effective solutions that drive organizational goals;
- Represent the organization in external talent-related partnerships and community initiatives, promoting collaboration, learning opportunities, and brand reputation as an employer of choice.
Your Qualifications:
As the ideal candidate, you are an ambitious and organized strategic HR and talent management leader who has a proven ability to implement successful talent programs that deliver results, within a large and fast-paced environment. Further, you are a natural leader with strong people-management skills, as proven by your experience successfully leading a team of HR professionals.
Qualifications include:
- 8+ years' experience in Human Resources, including leadership experience;
- Post-secondary education, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, or other related discipline with relevant experience will also be considered;
- CPHR designation would be considered a strong asset;
- Depth of program management experience in areas such as performance management, organizational development, and DEI initiatives;
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve required objectives;
- Demonstrated strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills;
- Demonstrated use of sound judgment and reliable decision-making;
- A high degree of self-motivation, professionalism, and business acumen.
