Northwood is currently accepting applications for an Part Time Area Support Clerk (Long Term Care) to join our Halifax Campus.
Qualifications:
- A graduate of an accredited secretarial program or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting. Health care experience required
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Well organized, with strong customer service focus and good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computers, with experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Electronic Charting System, Scanning of documents & Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision demonstrating effective time management skills
- Previous experience in a tong-term care setting
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis according to Northwood's corporate standard

Hours of Work: 40 hours bi-weekly (8 hour shifts)
