Program Coordinator - Digital Lead, Practice Ready Assessment - New Brunswick (PRA-NB)
Description
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB) serves and protects the public by regulating the practice of medicine in the province. With over 20 employees, the CPSNB is currently seeking a Program Coordinator - Digital Lead for the Practice Ready Assessment - New Brunswick (PRA-NB) program.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator- Digital Lead is a critical operational role within the Practice Ready Assessment - New Brunswick (PRA-NB) program. This role ensures the smooth execution of daily functions, supports the implementation of digital systems (including a new Learning Management System), and manages program data to support evaluation, reporting, and strategic decision-making. The Digital Lead acts as a bridge between strategic planning and operational delivery - helping transform ideas into action through strong systems coordination, data management, and logistical oversight.
Below is an outline of key responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting
- Develop and maintain secure databases and tracking systems for candidates, assessors, assessments, and evaluations.
- Prepare data reports, dashboards, and summaries using Excel and Power BI (asset).
- Ensure data quality and integrity to support defensible decisions and external reporting (e.g., to MCC, CPSNB).
- Contribute to national and internal evaluation frameworks and long-term research initiatives.
Technical & Digital Implementation
- Contribute to the development of visually engaging digital resources, templates, infographics, and Presentations for program use in conjunction with the Program Manager.
- Coordinate candidate and assessor digital onboarding processes, including documentation collection, LMS registration, and tech setup.
- Provide coaching and troubleshooting support for candidates, assessors and colleagues with digital platforms
- Manage and improve Teams channels, Microsoft Forms, Excel trackers, and related platforms to support program workflows.
Digital Systems & Learning Management System (LMS)
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) to be developed for virtual orientation and training needs.
- Upload, update, and organize training materials, monitor usage, and provide LMS support to candidates, assessors and for other groups in the college using the LMS.
Required Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in social sciences, health sciences, education, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in program coordination or digital solutions/operations, preferably in healthcare or education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools including:
- Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, reports, programming of optimized forms)
- SharePoint
- Teams
- PowerPoint
- Microsoft Forms
- Experience with or willingness to learn Power BI and LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Brightspace, or similar).
- Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset for this position although, if not fully bilingual, consideration of application would be given, as this is not a public facing role.
