Your Impact
As Team Lead at King, you'll guide and support a dedicated security team, ensuring safety across sprawling outdoor grounds, classrooms, and specialized healthcare and animal care facilities. You are the "go-to" leader for students, staff, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Security Guards during assigned shifts
- Assign patrols of outdoor grounds, academic buildings, and residence
- Lead by example in incident response, reporting, and customer care
- Support health and wellness programming and high-profile events
- Oversee training, onboarding, and continuous improvement for your team
- Coordinate with local first responders and campus departments
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain a proactive, service-oriented presence
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' security experience (post-secondary or healthcare preferred)
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience an asset
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Current First Aid/CPR, Use of Force, and crisis training certifications
- G-class driver's license (clean abstract)
- Outstanding communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills
- Must not be a current Seneca student
