We are looking for a Manager, Management Systems & Assurance Specialist to join our Legal & Regulatory Team at Emera New Brunswick (ENB). This position will be part of a small, integrated, professional team and will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of ENB's documented Processes and Programs as well as ensuring ENB is compliant with Corporate Policies assigned to the role. This position also supports other functional areas at ENB such as Operations/Engineering, Health, Safety & Environment and Stakeholder Relations.
Key elements of this role include:
- Responsible for maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's documented Operations Management System (OMS), corporate programs and associated documents and records;
- Manage and implement revisions to Program and Process documents to improve clarity and consistency, to meet compliance requirements, and to ensure effective business outcomes;
- Continuously assess Company workflows for management system improvements;
- Ensure document revisions/new documents have adequate and appropriate review prior to issuance;
- Conduct awareness training on management system changes and improvements;
- As a key member of ENB's Legal & Regulatory Team, work with the team on internal, corporate and third-party audits and other compliance verification activities related to the OMS (and its elements) and the business;
- Support Process/Program Owners and Managers in Program reviews and continuous improvement;
- Monitor and ensure adherence to business processes and policies across ENB including Third-Party Risk Management, Modern Anti-Slavery and Anti-Corruption;
- Participate in/lead other company and corporate initiatives as assigned from time to time.

- Post-secondary diploma/degree and/or a minimum of 5-8 years related experience in quality assurance and/or management systems;
- You are detail oriented and highly collaborative, with a focus on delivering results through teamwork;
- You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Knowledge of Management Systems and associated standards, such as CER On-shore Pipeline Regulations and CSA Z662;
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 would be considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Teams and SharePoint are required;
- Proficiency and/or willingness to learn other platforms such as Cority, GIS and AuditBoard, would be considered an asset;
