Hours: Rotating Continental (0700 - 1900 / 1900 - 0700)
Pay Rate: $23.98/ Hr

Job Description:
In this key role, you will oversee a state-of-the-art healthcare command centre. Your role will include the following:
- SOC Operator is a shift lead role, responsible for the oversight of the security platoon
- Responsible for orienting guards to their respective roles
- Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff
- Monitor and operate numerous command centre systems including, access control, CCTV, fire and life safety.
- Make emergency overhead announcements
- Collaborate with the Security Coordinator on special projects
- Assist in training new staff
- Answer Telephones and dispatch calls from the command centre
- Handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking.
- Liaise with security staff, Paladin Operations Centre and assist with deployment
- Liaise with visitors, clients and staff
- Manage Lost & Found
- Manage the issuance and return of facility keys and ID/Access cards
- Issue Visitor and Contractor badges

- Write clear, concise, and legible reports.
- Communicates any concerns/issues with Site Coordinator.
Requirements:
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Degree in Police Foundations, Protection, Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services
- Proof of double Covid Vaccination
- Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2)
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification (Wsib Approved)
- Experience working in a command or dispatch centre would be an asset
- Authorized to legally work in Canada
