Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Large Format Print Production Specialist to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a print shop environment, operating and maintaining various large format printers and finishing equipment. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting and be committed to producing top-tier work with precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain roll-to-roll and flatbed printers (latex, solvent, UV)
- Set up print files using RIP software; ensure correct layout, scaling, and color accuracy
- Perform quality checks and color matching to meet client specification
- Run CNC routers, cutters, and laminators as required
- Troubleshoot equipment and maintain daily operational readiness
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on schedule
- Collaborate with the design and install teams to optimize production workflows
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in a wide format print production environment
- Strong knowledge of RIP software, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience with finishing equipment (cutting, laminating, mounting)
- Excellent eye for color, detail, and print quality
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and technologies
Nice to Have
- Experience with CNC cutting, routing, or die-cut finishing
- Familiarity with print shop management software (e.g., Ordant, CoreBridge)
