In this role, you will:
- Contribute to coordination across departments by supporting cross-functional collaboration and alignment with strategic goals and priorities.
- Participate in planning cycles and support the implementation of partnership-related strategies and organizational reporting efforts.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new funding and partnership opportunities with government and global institutional donors.
- Contribute to relationship development activities and the preparation of engagement materials for potential funders.
- Support the development and tracking of quarterly workplans, monitoring progress against partnership and revenue targets.
- Flag emerging risks or delays and contribute to team performance tracking and reporting.
Assist in the development and use of tools and resources-such as marketing materials, partner briefings, opportunity analyses, proposal pipelines, and CRM systems-to support strategic engagement.
Help manage and maintain data and information related to donors and partners, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records using CRM systems.
Support the development of high-quality proposals and funding submissions to government and institutional donors.
- Contribute to coordination across teams to ensure timely, consistent, and strategically aligned proposal development.
- Participate in the analysis of donor priorities and funding trends to assess alignment with CRC programs and services.
- Monitor funding platforms (e.g., Devex, MERX) to identify and flag relevant partnership and funding opportunities.
- Support the review and analysis of RFPs, calls for proposals, and other funding notices.
- Contribute to research and insight generation to inform strategic engagement decisions and funding diversification efforts.
What we are looking for:
- Qualifications include a minimum of 4-7 years experience in government relations, resource mobilization, or stakeholder management and a 3-year college diploma or university degree in business administration, international development, public policy or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. May require technical certifications or professional designations.
- Experience contributing to the development of funding proposals to government and other donors.
- Experience collaborating and coordinating multiple teams.
- Experience in proposal development, including research, drafting, coordination, and review of funding submissions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint is required.
- Ability to identify, investigate and analyze problems, identify root causes and risks, and apply technical, functional and organizational knowledge to develop solutions.
- Communication skills, diplomacy and empathy to interpret information and deliver advice, clarify client or stakeholder needs, offer solutions, and resolve escalations in new or somewhat sensitive situations.
- Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.

- Will be working primarily in an office-like setting when not deployed to an emergency response operation.
- May require travel to safe locations; limited exposure to adverse conditions.
- Work requires the ability to work to deadlines.
- Work requires interactions with dissatisfied clients and the resolution of complex client issues.
