Salary Band: $71,652 - $113,748 - A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $76,000 - $86,000 at the time of this posting. (Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training and internal equity).
Work Location: Office or Hybrid option working from one our Atlantic Canadian Offices (Moncton, NB, Halifax, NS, or St. John's, NL)
- Onboarding/Probation: Full-time in-office for the first 6 months, based in Moncton, NB preferred.
- After Probation: You can choose to either continue working full-time in the office or switch to a hybrid model, coming into the office 2-3 times a week.
Deliver routine operational reporting and analysis aligned with business objectives.
Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to provide clear, actionable insights into business performance.
Identify key cost and revenue drivers through in-depth data analysis.
Collaborate with business units to ensure performance frameworks are well understood and effectively applied.
Continuously review and optimize KPIs and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Proactively detect issues and conduct "what-if" analyses to support strategic and operational goals.
Provide critical analytics to inform business and strategic planning across financial, customer, process, and workforce areas.
Support Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
Work closely with business units and process analysts to maintain consistency in reporting and analytics practices.
Establish and uphold processes that ensure high-quality, reliable BI reporting.
Adapt to evolving BI tools and capabilities, contributing to continuous improvement in data access and reporting.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in a similar role.
- Post-secondary education with a strong analytical component, e.g. statistics, business, social sciences, sciences.
- Proficiency in Relational Databases (SQL).
- Experience with data analysis languages (Python, R).
- Familiarity with Alteryx.
- Competence in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
- Application of statistical methodologies to test design, measurement, and analysis.
- Experience with web analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent communicator with an ability to clearly explain complex technical subjects to a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to clean and dive into messy data to find insights.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office product suite.
- Resourceful and self-reliant; a strong self-starter with a passion for learning.
- Ability to translate data analysis into stories, insights and recommendations.
- Knowledgeable about best practices around data manipulation, extracting data from big data systems, feature engineering and creating dashboards.
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, prioritize and competently handle a variety of activities with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced, customer-driven environment.
