Position Scope:

The Shipping Supervisor, reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Department Head, is responsible for managing the shipping team, including assigning duties to forklift operators and ensuring the safe and timely execution of the daily shipping schedule. They provide training, coaching, and feedback to team members, fostering their growth and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. The supervisor collaborates with key personnel across various departments to meet objectives, resolves any issues that arise, and ensures all operations comply with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience within shipping would be considered an asset.
• Leadership experience would be considered an asset.

Desired Qualities and Abilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Strong communication skills are required for this position for working in a departmental teamwork setting. Having exceptional computer literacy is required for this position. Must be able to work rotating shifts.
