Summary

As the Director of Account Management and Marketing for Best Buy Express, you will work closely with our sales organizations to drive effective and integrated sales. Our team is the primary interface to the sales organization in our Retail Channels. This role brings new products to market (working collaboratively with Best Buy), provide support on value propositions and positioning; introduce and track revenue-generating programs; develop messaging for key accounts; and provide channel support and operation for our sales organization.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a customer-centric mindset, exceptional problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex business objectives into actionable marketing strategies.

The successful candidate will report to the Vice President, Retail at Bell.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team which designs and delivers account management for the Best Buy Express Retail Channel, drives new channel to market, is a strong partner to our sales organization, leads sales enablement activities, and develops and maintains the market tracking of our products, offers, and programs.
  • Oversee and refine the 4P marketing strategy for both Best Buy Express brand, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Go-to-market planning – help improve product roadmap/execution, new product introductions and alignment (working collaboratively with Best Buy Team) and on go-to-market programs across marketing and sales.
  • Work closely with sales, retention, and distribution teams to ensure alignment throughout the full customer lifecycle, identifying opportunities to enhance the acquisition funnel and improve revenue retention.
  • Collaborate to create seamless marketing-to-sales handoffs and conversion strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution.
  • Deliver the portfolio's revenue objectives and profitability (EBITDA) objectives, including forecasting and managing demand.
  • Provide competitive pricing intelligence and support for the business.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop value propositions, sales tools and collateral.
  • Increase awareness and efficiency and drive growth in key solutions areas through programs, offers and effective communications.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis of various sales channels.
  • Standardize and leverage tele-prospecting agencies to generate qualified leads; continue to engage sales in prospecting and funnel building.
  • Manage overall customer contact strategy, improving targeting quality and process to ensure integrated messaging of all programs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for simplification, cost reduction and/or improvement in the end-to-end product delivery.
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience with a proven track record of leading initiatives in fast-paced industries like telecommunications, technology, or retail.
  • Expertise in managing the 4Ps of marketing, with a focus on Internet, wireless and Consumer electronic products.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and project management skills with attention to both macro-outcomes and micro execution details.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-channel marketing strategies and optimizing performance across platforms.
  • Deep understanding of sales and retail industry including Consumer growth, partner relations and sales drivers
  • Proven ability to establish strong controls and measures of accountability to ensure the team delivers on objectives and responsibilities.
  • Analytical skills – strong analytical and problem-solving ability including excellent financial acumen.
  • A proven leader who is committed to grow and develop high performance teams
  • A team player, with the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and a strong track record of driving performance improvements across a team of direct reports

  • Presentation skills – this role will involve preparing and delivering presentations to executives both within Bell and to our customers/vendors/partners.
  • Computer skills – in-depth knowledge of MS Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated and able to seek out innovative approaches to business challenges
Preferred Competencies
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related area, Masters or Professional Designation is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of telecommunications and consumer electronics products
  • Strong capacity to learn and interest in Sales and Partner Retail
  • Able to work with tight deadlines
