This position is accountable for supporting the integration of technologies within the mental health and addiction system, this position will function in a leadership role providing clinical and technical advice to support the system integration of e-mental health services regionally and provincially. The incumbent will be expected to report to the Regional Director of Mental Health and Addictions and report/liaison closely with the Provincial e-Mental Health Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to other mental health and addictions programs and/or services, such as mental health and addiction health prevention and promotion and youth outreach workers.
This position will be regional, but will operate under a provincial work plan, which seeks to action specific Towards Recovery recommendations and various activities as outlined by project teams. This position will support the translation of e-mental health knowledge regionally by providing support and training to staff to ensure the deployment and successful uptake and integration of existing and new e-mental health technologies across the continuum of care for mental health and addiction services (i.e., Bridge the gApp (BTG), Breathing Room?, Strongest Families Institute, Therapy Assisted Online, etc). This position will liaison with regional and provincial information management (IM), information technology (IT), Client Registry Management System (CRMS), Meditech and telehealth staff already positioned within the region to support integration and coordination of technology. The incumbent will also support the advancement of e-mental health use through telehealth, Electronica Medical Record (EMR) and Personal Health Record (PHR). This position will be responsible for the development and verification of content for new and existing e-mental health technologies (i.e., BTG, RHA websites, etc.), support risk assessments and privacy impact assessments and advise on the consolidation of websites/website information where needed to improve system navigation. These positions will also support the successful promotion and uptake of e-mental health technologies among staff and the public through promotion, testing, education, and evaluation.
This position carries a broad organizational scope since the incumbent works with clinical, administrative, technical, and management personnel for the purposes of consultation, direction, information exchange, and problem resolution. This position will also work with the provincial manager of e-mental health services and work collaboratively with government departments, RHAs, community partners, individuals and families to ensure all new and existing e-mental health services are recovery-focused, inclusive and apply a co-designed approach.
The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with other Regional Managers, Mental Health & Addictions Services to standardize program planning and operations to ensure equitable and efficient service delivery Other related duties as required. Rotational on-call and regional travel will be required.

Required qualifications:
? Undergraduate degree in a health-related discipline, supplemented by preparation at the graduate level and with related experience and professional development.
? Current registration with the appropriate licensing body within Newfoundland and Labrador. (If applicable).
? Demonstrated recent and relevant work experience in the health care field.
? Proven leadership qualities, exceptional interpersonal, facilitation and problem solving skills.
? Demonstrated ability to function in a diverse and changing environment.
? Demonstrated effective communication skills including written and oral.
? Demonstrated effective research, organizational and analytical skills.
? Demonstrated sound professional judgement.
? Demonstrated high proficiency in using computers and expertise beyond the basic operation of computer application programs.
? Demonstrates interest and working knowledge of e-mental; health and have the skills to launch and integrate e-mental health services,.
? Proven ability to train staff and troubleshoot when problems arise.
? Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, work independently, and ensure that duties are performed in a timely and confidential manner.
? Valid Class IV driver?s license.

Preferred qualifications:
? Demonstrated knowledge of current evidence in mental health and addictions treatments and delivery systems and special focus on e-mental health technologies.
? Experience working within a mental health and addictions context.
