Salary: $17.50/hour

Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)

Placement Duration: September – December 2025

Department: Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD)

Placement Description: This intern position aims to support the Centre of Excellence for Language Learning, with a focus on assisting Innovation Network sites. The intern will help monitor budgets, track progress, and share key learnings from the sites. It will also include Gathering and presenting evidence to support the continuation and expansion of funding for innovative educational efforts in FSL (French Second Language), sharing and publicizing project successes to a broader audience through accessible, professional communication formats. All while Ensuring reporting format is clear, consistent, and replicable for future use across initiatives. Through this role, the student will gain hands-on experience with the Centres of Excellence model, which emphasizes experiential learning. This collaborative environment will help them develop skills in project management, teamwork, and data-informed reflection.

This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.

Need to have:

• Language requirement: Bilingual
• Attending a post-secondary institution.

Nice to have: This person should demonstrate strong data management skills and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should be comfortable writing clear and concise reports and contributing to project documentation. Knowledge of French is considered an asset and would support the bilingual nature of the work.
