Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)

Placement Duration: September – December 2025

Department: Social Development (SD)

Placement Description: Responsibilities include helping with vulnerability scans, monitoring systems for threats, responding to security incidents, and supporting cybersecurity best practices.

This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.

Need to have:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information System, etc.

Nice to have: The ideal student should have experience in cybersecurity analysis and vulnerability scanning, with familiarity using tools like Wireshark and Nikto. They should have programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and React.js. The student should also bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in hybrid environments.
