Job Summary
The Management Analyst IIC is responsible for program development within the Health Information Services and Informatics (HISI) Department. The Analyst will lead/supervise a group of health record staff, develop standardized records management procedures, and evaluate process efficiencies. The Analyst will also analyze reports and identify areas of quality improvement, and implement those improvements in consultation with the departmental employees and the manager. Work will also include leading the analysis and support of the scanning software database system, providing specialized developmental training, maintaining internal processes including auditing, completing payroll, scheduling and tracking productivity within the department, and other related duties as required.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Health Records Management, Business Administration or Information Management is required.
Current certification as an accredited Health Information Management Professional from the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) is an asset.
Minimum of two years of experience within the last four in a health information/health informatics environment is required
Experience in quality improvement initiatives is required.
Knowledge of Health Records Management.
Knowledge of database management.
Knowledge of change management and its best principles and practices as they pertain to project management.
Demonstrated strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyse reports.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated effective problem solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated strong policy writing skills.
Proven ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a deadline driven, team-orientated environment.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
