JOB SUMMARY :
Under the responsibility of the Regional Assistant Director of Mental Health Services, the incumbent will assume a leadership role by planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services provided based on the needs of clients. This person will ensure quality services by collaborating with various professionals and other service providers as well as with clients and their family. Services will be provided in accordance with the management philosophy and objectives with Vitalité Health Network's policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a health administration- or health-related discipline and 8 to 10 years of broad experience in health, including 5 years' recent experience in management;
- Registered member of a professional association ;
- Ability to form internal and external partnerships with ease thanks to his or her knowledge or the environment and unifying spirit;
- Leadership and good communication skills;
- Strategic-thinking skills and innovative and collaborative management style;
- Strong problem-solving and planning skills, as well as abilities in the area of program development and evaluation;
- Ability to function with ease in a changing environment and highly skilled to implement change management strategies;
- Extensive experience managing human and financial resources, as well as general information;
- Recognized as a person who is able to achieve results, either directly or through teamwork;
- Ability to use computer tools currently in place throughout the health network;
- Ability to travel within the Network and the province;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physically able to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
NOTE :
- The selected person will need to travel to the Centre for Hope and Harmony as per operational requirements.
