Job Offer: Class 1 Driver - Yard Shunter

Hourly wage: $26.00
Evening and/or weekend premium: +$2.00/hour
Schedule: Flexible start times between 4: 30 AM and 10:30 PM
Location: Montreal, Qc

We are currently hiring experienced Class 1 drivers with shunting experience for a full-time, local position with a stable schedule. The role involves moving trailers within a busy yard (200+ trailers) with a strong focus on safety compliance. Bilingualism (French and English) and a strong commitment to safety are required.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough 15-minute pre-trip inspections before every shift.
• Follow all procedures and protocols with precision.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Relocate trailers within the yard as directed by dispatch.
• Collaborate with the team and demonstrate a positive, problem-solving attitude.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Minimum 1 year of Shunting experience or City P&D experience.
• Must have a clean Driver Record.
• Must be Safety oriented and compliance.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
