The Records Technicianprovides support to the Workers Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) byassisting in the management of recorded information to ensure it is organizedefficiently and effectively in accordance with the Government of the NorthwestTerritories (GNWT) legislation and WSCC policies and procedures to ensure thatrecords of the organisations actions and decisions are maintained securely andconfidentially for legal, fiscal, operational and historical purposes

Here are a few ways you will make a difference:

- Review and Process WSCC records dispositions.

- Review and process record transfers to the GNWTrecords center.

- Assist in the quality control of WSCC records.

- Provide information retrieval services.

- Assist in providing records management training,advice and assistance to WSCC Staff.

What you bring to the role:

- A two (2) year post-secondaryeducation in the field of Records Management, Library and Information Scienceor a related field, plus three (3) years of directly related experience inrecords management.
