What you will do:
Reporting to the Park Manager of Fundy Trail Provincial Park, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, promoting, and improving social media content.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Managing social media content for Fundy Trail Provincial Park in both official languages
- Promoting events, activities and daily highlights to connect with visitors via social media
- Managing various platforms to improve engagement with followers and increasing the number of followers
- Using marketing strategies to achieve a variety of positive results
- Performing other related duties as required

You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, are self-motivated with a desire to learn, and can think on your feet. You have a respect for safety. You have a love of nature and the outdoors. You are physically fit and able to walk many kilometers in a day. You are willing to learn the many facets of the site.
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Required Competencies:
- Post-secondary diploma in one or more of the following fields of study: Marketing, Journalism, and/or Communication
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in sector development
- Thorough knowledge and experience working with various computer software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop, Trello)
- Experience in photography/videography and editing
- Experience in graphic design
- Demonstrated journalism, media relations and marketing skills to design, develop and present information to a wide variety of people
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.
Please attach a copy of your driver's license and a current Driver's Abstract (available from Service New Brunswick) with your application.
Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.
Nice to have:
- Possession of a valid Emergency First Aid/CPR certificate
- Experience in the tourism industry
- Experience in fostering relationships
- Experience in preparing external communications and briefing notes

Wage:
$2,017.00 to $2,818.00 biweekly (Pay band 3)
Work environment:
- Office location: Fundy Trail Provincial Park
- Working flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
