The Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Operations Support team is responsible for providing administrative, applications, environment and analytic support to Transmission and Distribution Operations and Planning.

As part of the T&D Operations Support team, the Analyst I is responsible for providing analytic support for Distribution Services.

Key functions include:

• Create and maintain T&D Power Bi Reports
• Provide reporting for daily management and general requests
• Provide ad hoc analytical support, emergency event support, asset damage billing support, and backup for other Analysts.

Our ideal teammate will have:

• One of the following qualifications (or an equivalent educational credential):
  • Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
  • Two-year Business Administration Diploma and two years of work experience in a business operational or analytical role, involving data analysis, performance reporting, or business process support.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and four years of work experience in a business operational or analytical role, involving data analysis, performance reporting, or business process support.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word.

The following would be considered assets:

• Candidates who have work experience in a business operational or analytical role, involving data analysis, performance reporting, or business process support.
• Candidates who have experience using work management systems such as SAP, or similar platforms.
• Candidates who have training or certification in any of the following areas: Information Technology Data Analytics Diploma; Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate; and any other Data Analytics Certificate/Diploma.
• Candidates who have knowledge of Power BI tools or similar data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik), SQL/Data Warehouse, coding in python or R for the purposes of data analysis.

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
