What you will be doing:
The Senior Manager, Product Engagement and Money Movement, will be responsible for deepening client utilization and awareness of Tangerine's Debit card features, as well as overseeing and optimizing the bank's money movement capabilities.


This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Retail client money movement transactions, fraud risks, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead execution of the Debit Card Lifecycle Management strategy to drive primacy, deeper client engagement and optimization of our partnerships.
  • Oversee the Tangerine's Money Movement solutions that enable client deposit and withdrawal including: Interac eTransfer, EFT and Remote Cheque Deposit.
  • Develop clear vision for money movement securing funding through approved business cases, ensuring enterprise alignment and executing these roadmap initiatives e.g. Tangerine Request Money.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement by identifying and addressing customer pain points and operational challenges.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
  • Product lead on initiatives for new capabilities to support Tangerine's strategic objectives e.g. Tangerine Request Money, ensuring product team requirements are met and risks identified to mitigate impact to client experience.
  • Understand fraud related risks and work with partners to close gaps without creating friction within the customer journey.
  • Provide leadership updates and reporting as required on the status of money movement product performance and Debit Card engagement and money movement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant network and Bank policies, and procedures.


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, preference to roles focusing on Client Engagement, money movement, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence relationships with stakeholders at all levels to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience with implementing and managing payment technologies and systems.
