Job Description:
TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over two decades, the organization has established competitive market positions in active, quantitative, and passive portfolio management. As of December 31, 2024 TDAM and its affiliates manage over $459 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.
In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada's largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.
The Product Offering Disclosure team deals with the technical requirements of creating and maintaining our mutual funds. We also help our customers make informed investment decisions through the compilation of standardized information about our funds that allows them to compare with other funds within our product line or those in the industry. The Product Offering Disclosure team establishes the project plans and works closely with internal and external partners to create, renew and file our mutual fund offering and other regulatory documents required under securities legislation. Offering documents include the prospectus and fund facts. We are also responsible for creating and filing amendments to these offering documents throughout the year as required.
This position reports to the Manager, Product Offering Disclosure (Prospectus), and will assist the team with the following:
- Prospectus renewals of existing funds: The main responsibility of this role is to assist with the preparation and filing of offering documents for TD's existing families of investment funds. This includes the annual renewal of existing prospectuses and may also include renewals of fund facts and amendments to offering documents. These projects require close communication with key internal business partners such as: TD Wealth Legal, product managers, TD Tax, the Fund Facts team, the Regulatory Communications team; and external business partners such as: law firms, auditors, translation firms and print agencies. The Associate will help ensure that all prospectus content is reviewed for accuracy, reflects the funds' activities and is compliant with all regulatory requirements. It will also be important to follow strict timelines in order to successfully complete all projects on time.
- Other regulatory filings: The Associate may also assist with the creation of prospectuses and related regulatory documents for new mutual funds outside the regular annual prospectus renewal cycle. The Associate may also contribute to the preparation of other regulatory filings as assigned.
- Other day-to-day duties, as assigned, to support the maintenance of the funds.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- as a core expectation, quickly develop an understanding of, and work proficiently with, securities regulation pertaining to mutual funds (particularly National Instruments 81-101 and 41-101)

- have proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
- have a high proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe (proficiency working with macros, both Word and Excel, would be an asset)
- have a developed ability to add value through innovation and creativity with regard to process improvements and problem solving
- have a keen interest in the investment fund industry (experience is preferred)
- French language proficiency would be an asset
Additional Information
Overtime may be required on a frequent basis to adhere to strict project timelines.
Requirement is to go into the office 4 days a week.
