The successful candidate will provide art experiences to students throughout HRCE through an African Nova Scotian lens. The successful applicant must be able to represent the African Nova Scotian culture authentically. It is highly recommended that the candidate have a vehicle and be able to move art/music supplies in and out of buildings on a regular basis.

- Successful Term Rehire Teachers who are fully qualified will be issued a probationary/permanent contract and will become a permanent member of the school's teacher complement. Teachers should only apply for these positions if they are prepared to accept a probationary/permanent contract.
- Fully qualified External Teachers, New Hire Teachers by way of Term Contract, and Substitute Teachers may be issued a probationary contract and become a permanent member of the school's teacher complement.
