As part of the Energy Efficiency Services team, the Behavioural Engagement & Events Coordinator plays a key role in supporting energy efficiency program delivery by coordinating events, fostering stakeholder relationships, and implementing behaviour-based engagement initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining a dynamic event and outreach calendar, identifying opportunities for community focused initiatives, and creating meaningful touchpoints with program participants to promote energy-saving behaviours and ongoing education.


Key include:

  • Event Planning & Scheduling: Coordinating internal and external events such as workshops, outreach initiatives, and program activities. Maintaining a current events calendar, tracking participation, gathering feedback, and supporting ongoing improvement in logistics and content.
  • Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Building and managing relationships with community stakeholders and partners. Seeking collaborative opportunities that align with program goals. Representing the organization at events and forums to foster awareness and trust.
  • Education, Outreach & Behavioural Engagement: Supporting the annual Energizing Efficiency Conference and Energy Efficiency programs by identifying behavioral strategies. Assisting in designing educational campaigns and developing outreach materials to encourage energy-saving habits.

Our ideal teammate will have:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration or Communication, or a related field
  • Four years of experience in event coordination, administrative support or a similar role
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency or sustainability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, calendar tools, and event platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Spoken competence in English and French is required

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
