What you will do

As an Operations Worker I, you will work under the direction of the Highway Sign Supervisor and be responsible for:

• Maintaining and placement of highway signs.
• Installation of proper highway signs in accordance with pre-established standards.
• Performing various highway maintenance and construction work.
• Operating and maintaining hand tools and light constriction equipment.
• Preparing and maintaining work records on the operation of the assigned equipment.

Work environment

• Work location: St. Stephen
• Work occasionally on holidays, weekends, shift and/or variable hours.
• May work in adverse road and weather conditions.

Essential qualifications

• Completion of grade ten (10) and a minimum of one (1) year experience in the operation of construction equipment.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driver's license with an endorsement for air brakes as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

SALARY:

Operations Worker I: $25.27 per hour bi-weekly, based on 40-hours per week.
