Fredericton Buick GMC is seeking Collision Estimator/ Customer Service Representative to join our team! This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical estimating with front-line customer service.
As a key member of our collision center, you'll assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and coordinate with both customers and insurance companies to ensure a smooth repair process. You'll also serve as the first point of contact for customers—scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing updates throughout their repair journey.
Hourly Wage Range: commensurate with knowledge, skills, and abilities
Qualifications:
Collision center experience is an asset
Familiarity with estimating software such as Mitchell iCloud and/or Audatex
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is an asset
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
Conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and a positive, team-focused attitude
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate collision repair estimates
Deliver exceptional customer service across in-person, phone, and digital platforms
Act as a liaison between customers, insurance companies, and internal departments
Support front office operations including scheduling, filing, invoicing, and database management
Communicate repair timelines, process updates, and expectations to customers
Collaborate with production teams and estimators to ensure timely and quality vehicle delivery
Uphold safety regulations and assist in ongoing training and compliance
Contribute to a positive and productive team culture
Other duties as assigned to support operational excellence
