Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Research and Innovation, the Division Manager will oversee the operations of the Innovation Division and provide oversight to the project managers and operations manager within this division. The Division Manager will also oversee all partnership development and maintenance, including partners within the local innovation ecosystem, strategic innovation partners, and other national and multinational companies; all business development leads for the Innovation Agenda; financial management of all incoming external funding; operations of the Health Innovation Acceleration Centre; development of programming for start-ups and staff; and all Innovation trials including budgets, timelines and regulatory aspects.

The Division Manager will also be responsible for the Innovation Strategy, including the stimulation and promotion of the Innovation Strategy to produce successful outcomes, as well as all communications related aspects of the division; and other duties related to the growth and development of the Health Innovation Sector in the province.

Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline is required, preferably in a clinical discipline.
A related Master's degree is preferred.

Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years working in the healthcare sector is required.
Experience working in a leadership or management role is required.
Experience with project management is preferred.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills and innovation in problem solving and decision making.

Other
Current registration/licensure in the relevant professional association is required, if applicable.
