Job Title: Forklift Operator

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour

Available Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 9:00am - 6:00pm)

Location: Burlington, ON - Mainway and Corporate Drive - Appleby Line

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for experienced Counterbalance forklift operators to join our client's warehouse facility in Burlington. This position is within a 3rd party logistics warehouse, offering long-term to permanent hire employment with a 100% Canadian owned and independently operated company. We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates to join their growing company. Our client is looking for candidates who can start immediately!

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Counterbalance forklift throughout the facility
• Load, unload, and move product around the warehouse
• Use an RF scanner to receive product and enter into warehouse management system
• Communicate with drivers and peers about shipments
• Repetitively move product that weighs up to 50lbs
• Work at a fast pace, picking and packing orders to meet daily shipment quotas
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required

Experience:

• Valid in-house or third-party Counterbalance forklift license preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in counterbalance forklift or material handler role required
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse and loading dock
• Experience using an RF scanner to receive product
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Strong team player
