Status: Part-Time
Hours: Saturday and Sunday (2000 - 0800 hrs.)
Pay Rate: $18.25 /hr.

Site Description:
St. Demetrius Residence is located in a lovely residential area in the West end of Toronto, west of Scarlett Road, east of Royal York Road, and north of Eglinton Avenue. St. Demetrius Residence is a 15-story, 259-unit, independent seniors apartment. Residents are aged 65 years and over. The complex offers several apartment layouts. They include a small bachelor, and large bachelor as well as one and two-bedroom units.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Respond to fire alarms, and emergencies according to Standard Operating Procedures

• Conduct periodic extensive foot patrols of the interior and exterior of the property and grounds
• Provide a high level of customer service to all residents, patrons, visitors, and guests.
• Draft daily occurrence/incident reports
• Report any and all deficiencies observed on site
• Work with property management, building maintenance, and other staff as directed in relation to maintaining the overall security of the site
• Investigate any complaints, disturbances, and resident issues as directed or required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must have a valid CPR & First Aid Certification Level C (WSIB Approved)
• Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, and foot patrol for an extended period of time.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of security guard experience
