Definition of work:
Reporting to the Director of Critical Care & Cardiopulmonary Services, the Project Coordinator-Virtual ER will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of Virtual ER?s throughout the Central Region.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
? Facilitation and coordination of Virtual ER (VER) schedule for all category B sites.
? Work directly with the communications team to facilitate Public Service Announcement preparation that provides advanced notification to key stakeholders
? Act as a liaison between everyone involved in the process and collaborates with team members engaged in service delivery planning
? Notifies private community ambulance operators with service delivery changes and collaborates to ensure appropriate staffing compliments.
? Secure staffing to support VER at category B ERs.
? Collaborate with the Manager of Site Operations (MSO) to facilitate service delivery.
? Collaborate with partners in Information Technology to coordinate, implement and maintain virtual technologies that are essential for service delivery.
? Other related duties as required.

Required qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree or diploma in a healthcare-related field.
? Five years of healthcare experience, in emergency services, primary healthcare, holistic case management or coordination experience.
? Knowledge of and the ability to navigate the healthcare sector
? Experience developing and facilitating care needs with a multi-disciplinary team
? Consistent demonstration of NL Health Service's core values; Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (ICARE)
? A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
? A satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
